One of hardest parts of life is busyness. We are always busy with something. Much like the notifications on our phone, it seems that some part of life is always demanding our attention. This can lead to inefficiency and make us completely exhausted in the process.
My solution? Take 10-20 minutes every morning to “disable notifications.” They can be detrimental to your health, anyway.
Turn off your phone. Get quiet. Find your favorite spot. Close your eyes and breathe. Relax.
Use this time to refresh your thoughts. Meditate. Pray. Visualize your day and what lies before you and how you are going to attack it. How you’re going to win it. Let go of the stress from yesterday.
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”
It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.
Once you’ve rebooted, chances are you’ll feel more calm, focused and creative.
